More IMO, not because of the weight difference, but because of the higher bore axis of the XD. A higher bore axis creates more flip. Another reason why I prefer glocks over XD's. I don't own an XDSC, but between my 19 and XD9 service, the XD has more muzzle flip. Also just a guess, but I bet the XDSC and the 19 are pretty close in weight.
